Q: What do I do if I lost my ticket?
The Palace Theatre is not responsible for lost or misplaced tickets. Customers who purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster should call 800-745-3000 and follow the prompts for a customer service representative. Customers who purchased their tickets through the Palace Theatre should call the Box Office at (518) 465-4663 during regular business hours.
Q: Why are my seats even or odd numbered?
Many sections within the theatre are even and odd numbered, for specific sections, please see our Seating Chart
Q: What is your exchange/refund policy for tickets?
Refunds are issued ONLY in the event of a show cancellation or date change. There are no refunds or exchanges allowed for any other circumstances.
Q: What is Will Call and how can I pick up my tickets?
Will Call is located inside the theatre during performance nights. Tickets are available for pick up One Hour Prior to the performance.

Q: Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?
The Palace Theatre is accessible for individuals with special needs and meets ADA guidelines.
The entire orchestra level is wheelchair accessible. A washroom is located in the main lobby for use of patrons unable to use stairs to other patron lounges.
When ordering tickets, please inform the ticket seller of any special requirements you may have so that appropriate seating may be obtained. Please be aware that ushers and Palace staff are not permitted to physically move or lift patrons from a wheelchair to a seat. If a patron can move to a seat from a wheelchair, the wheelchair must be stored by an usher at the rear of the theatre to prevent obstructions in the aisle. The theatre was designed with a steep slope from the midpoint to the rear of the orchestra section. Inform the ticket seller that you may not be comfortable pitched forward if the chair does not compensate for the incline.
Q: Do you have wheelchair/special needs accessible parking?
Accessible Parking is Limited in the vicinity of the Palace Theatre. If possible, please try and make plans to have someone drop you off in front of the theatre if you have difficulty walking more than a few blocks. For specific parking inquiries, please call 518-465-3335 ext. 0
Q: Do you have an elevator?
No, due to the age of the theatre, we do not currently have any elevator access for patrons.
Q: Do you offer hearing devices for people with impaired hearing?
The Palace Theatre has a limited number of hearing assistance devices available for loan. Please see the house manager in the main lobby to acquire one. A driver’s license is requested as “deposit” for the device until return
Q: When do doors open?
Doors generally open 1 hour prior to Showtime unless otherwise stated.
Q: What is the food and drink policy for the theatre?
Absolutely NO outside Food or Drink is allowed in the Palace Theatre. We do however provide Bars and Concession stands within the theatre to provide our patrons with beverages (Soda, Coffee, Water, Beer & Wine) and snacks to enjoy during the show.
Q: Is there a coat check?
We have a Coat Check open during select performances as needed. The Coat Check room is not open for all performances, please inquire as you arrive for the show.
Q: How do you deal with seating latecomers?
For many performances latecomers can be directed right to their seats by an usher when they arrive. For select performances (Symphony, Dance and Musicals) latecomers may need to remain in the rear of the house until an intermission or break in the performance.
Q: Where is the best place to sit?
Every seat in the house is a good one! However, if you have seating preferences, we suggest purchasing tickets as quickly as possible to allow yourself the most flexibility in your seating area.
Q: What is the theatre’s camera policy?
The Palace Theatre generally allows cameras (No Professional Lenses and NO Flash Photography) to performances, however in the event that a Band or Performer has their own preferences or rules, we always act in favor of the Artist. Please call ahead to determine the specific camera policy for the show you are attending to ensure that your camera does not get taken from you at the door.
Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, Gift Certificates for the Palace Theatre can be purchased in Person at the Palace Box Office (located at 19 Clinton Ave.) or over the phone by calling 518-465-4663.

Q: Where is the best place to park?
There are several options for Parking in Downtown Albany for Palace Theatre Events.
FREE PARKING is available for all Palace Theatre Events at the Quackenbush Garage.
THE QUACKENBUSH GARAGE is located just a few short blocks from the Theatre at Broadway and Orange Street (First left off 787 Exit 4B) This convenient area offers an easy walk to the Palace Theatre as well as Pearl Street restaurants and shopping. Free Parking is available for all Palace Theatre evening events, including movie nights, at the Quackenbush Garage beginning two hours before the show. The Garage will remain open up to two hours after Palace performances to retrieve vehicles.

VIP PARKING is also available at all Palace Theatre events for an additional fee. A convenient, valet-staffed lot is available on Pearl Street just past Clinton Avenue, across from the Theatre. Parking passes for this lot can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster.com or upon arrival. Please note that this valet parking service requires that patrons leave their keys with security attendants.
